Biography

Cornelia Louisa Christina Hendrikse-Maas was born in the small town of Aardenburg in the province of Zeeland, Netherlands, close to the Belgian border on 2 December 1885. She became the oldest person in The Netherlands after the death of 110-year-old Johanna van Dommelen-Hamer on 7 May 1996.

Mrs. Hendrikse-Maas passed away in the town of Roosendaal in the province of North Brabant, Netherlands on 15 July 1996. Following her death, Geertje Roelinga-de Groot became the oldest living person in The Netherlands.

She remains the longevity recordholder of the North Brabant province.
