Marion Hunter (1905-2016) validation

The GRG announces today the age validation of Marion Adele Hunter, nee Ashley, known as Mimi.

Marion was born in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, USA, on September 27th 1905. She had one sibling, a brother named Clifford. Whilst at the high school, Marion met her future husband, William Whyte Hunter, known as Bill. They waited eight years to get married, even longer to start a family. On October eighth 1930, they married in Minnesota and went on to have two daughters – Adele and Diane. Bill sadly passed away in 1995.

Marion was active into her later years – driving until 99 years of age. Around 2010 she started using a wheelchair, her eyesight began to fail and her memory was affected. Marion passed away in Bloomington, Hennepin County, Minnesota, USA, aged 110 years, 310 days.

Marion’s age was verified by her family, including William Hogan. Other contributors include Anri Kusaku, myself, Robert Young and Waclaw Jan Kroczek. Her validation was retroactively accepted with a date of September fourth 2016.
