Pauline Cook (1913-2025)

The Gerontology Research Group is saddened to announce the passing of Pauline Cook at 112.

Pauline Bolt was born in Illinois on March 30 1913 to Virgil and Edna Bolt. The family moved to Idaho and then California, where Pauline graduated from college. In 1946 she married Wells Cook, gaining three step-children from his previous marriage. Pauline was sadly widowed in 1979, after which she moved to Nevada, moving into a care home there in later years. At 109 she moved to a care facility in Virginia, where she would spend her remaining days.

Pauline Cook passed away at age 112 years, 1 day on March 31 2025. This was confirmed through contact with the care facility she resided at.

The GRG extends it’s condolences to Pauline’s family, friends and all who knew her.
