Margaret Linehan (1892-2003) validation

The GRG announces the age validation of Margaret Patricia Linehan, nee Sheehan. Margaret was born April 27th 1892 in Rossmore, County Cork, Ireland (which was then part of the UK, but now the Republic of Ireland). Her parents were David and Hannah Sheehan and had eight siblings. In 1912, Margaret traveled to the US, settling first in Connecticut, then moving to Massachusetts, then finally stopping in Maine. In 1923 she married James Henry Linehan and they went on to have one child – a son. James sadly passed away in 1962. Margaret passed away in Portland, Cumberland County, Maine, on February 18th 2003, aged 110 years, 297 days.

Her age was verified by Finbarr Connolly, Robert Young, Mark Muir and Gabriel Ainsworth. This was accepted as validated by the GRG with a retroactive date of October 10th 2016.
