Blanche Masson (1914-present) validation
The GRG announces today the age validation of Blanche Laure Masson, nee Cogniaux. Blanche was born January 9th 1914 in Houdain-lez-Bavay, Nord, Hauts-de-France, France, to Desire Adolphe Cogniaux and Jeanne Charlotte Jospeph Cogniaux, nee Bouchry. She was the youngest child out of the seven her parents had together. On April 16th 1938, Blanche married Louis Masson and they went on to have one child together – a son named Claude, born in August 1938. In 2003, Blanche and Louis celebrated 60 years of marriage. Shortly after this, Louis passed away at age 89, leaving Blanche a widow. She currently resides in Marly, Nord, Hauts-de-France at age 110. Blanche is the oldest known living person in the Hauts-de-France region.
Her age was verified by France correspondent, Sylvain Grosgeorge, and accepted as validated by the GRG today, February 9th 2024.
