Henry Hannah (1868-1978) validation
The GRG announces the age validation of Henry Dummer Hannah. Henry was born March 13th 1868 in Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey, USA, to John and Frances Hannah. They family lived for a time in New York, from at least 1875 until some time between 1900 and 1905, when they moved back to New Jersey. He had at least two siblings. In 1915, Henry married Mary L Woolsey. In 1918, they moved to Connecticut, where Henry would spend the rest of his life. Some time between 1940 and 1950, Mary sadly passed away. On September 21st 1960, at the age of 92, Henry married Florence C English, who was seen living with the couple as a lodger in 1940 and then when Henry was widowed in 1950. Henry passed away in Mansfield, Tolland County, Connecticut, on May 7th 1978, aged 110 years, 55 days.
Henry’s age was verified by Gabriel Ainsworth, Jason King, Daniel Gonik and an anonymous person. This was accepted by the GRG as valid retroactively, with a date of September 1st 2016.
