Nellie Cline (1863-1975) validation
The GRG announces today the age validation of Nellie Amelia Cline, nee Coward. Nellie was born December 4th 1863 in Matteson, Branch County, Michigan, to John and Elizabeth Coward. On October 4th 1881, Nellie married Almus Bertice Cline, known as Bert. They went on to have four children together – one of which, the only daughter, died young. Nellie outlived all but one of her sons. Bert sadly died on April 20th 1953, after over 70 years of marriage. Nellie passed away on February 9th 1975, aged 111 years, 67 days, in Coldwater, Branch County, Michigan.
Nellies age was verified by Nick Eriksson, myself, Waclaw Jan Kroczek, et al. This was accepted as valid by the GRG with a retroactive date of August 8th 2016.
