Meta Bongs (1903-2014) validation

The GRG announces the age validation of Meta Bongs. Meta Clara Bongs, sometimes known as Mattie, was born in Chippewa County, Minnesota, USA, on August 19th 1903 and was baptized on August 27th of the same year. By 1920, the family had moved to Ohio, where Meta continued to live for the rest of her life – mostly in Elyria and Carlisle in Lorain County. Meta never married. She passed away, aged 110 years, 310 days, in Willard, Huron County, Ohio.

Meta’s age was verified by Tim Green, Jason King, Anson Davis, an anonymous person and myself. Her validation was retroactively accepted by the GRG on April 4th 2016.
