Ivy Clapham (1903-2014) validation

The GRG announces today the age validation of Ivy May Clapham, nee Maltby. Ivy was born in Spilsby, Lincolnshire, England, UK, on September 6th 1903. On August 11th 1928, Ivy married Frederick William Clapham in Silsby and they went on to have three children. Sadly, Frederick died in 1989. Ivy lived in Skidby, Yorkshire, for many years, before moving in to her daughter’s home in 2011. Ivy passed away in Kingston-Upon-Hull, East Yorkshire, on September 18th 2014, aged 111 years, 12 days.

Ivy’s age was verified by Chris Law and myself, later retroactively validated on March 14th 2016.
