The GRG is delighted to say that Andree Bertoletto of France has celebrated her 113th birthday on January 1st (yesterday). She celebrated with family and friends at the care home she lives in. She is described in the article as well-groomed and memory of the past still being in reasonable shape. Andree is the second-oldest known living person in France at the moment, as well as the oldest known person in the Department of France she resides in.
The GRG sends warm congratulations to Andree on reaching such an impressive milestone!
The Gerontology Research Group (GRG) is a global non-profit dedicated to validating, recording, and researching supercentenarians — those aged 110 or older. Founded in 1990, we focus on human longevity, healthy aging, and studying the lives of the world’s oldest people.
Our work requires significant funding for research, travel, and maintaining our website. Any financial support would greatly aid our mission to advance the understanding of human longevity.
If you wish to support our research financially, please donate to our efforts, but only if you can afford it. We would greatly appreciate even a symbolic support. Thank you!
