Agnes Cecilia Bostrom (1912-present) validation

The GRG announces today the age validation of Agnes Cecilia Bostrom, nee Abrahamsson of Sweden. Agnes was born April 29th 1912 in Tarasjonas, Ramsele, Vasternorrland, Sweden, as one of eight children. Her mother lived to be 98. She married and enjoyed a full life – still living alone at age 109. She is the oldest known person born in Sweden, currently, but not the oldest person living in the country – this distinction goes to Gunborg Hancock, born in Finland.

Her age was verified by Victor Bjoerk, Waclaw Jan Kroczek and myself, later accepted by the GRG on June 24th 2023.
