Fujiko Mihara was born in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture, Japan on 13 December 1910.

On 13 December 2020, she celebrated her 110th birthday, becoming a supercentenarian.

In September 2022, she was reported as the oldest living person in Ehime Prefecture.

At the time of her death, Fujiko Mihara was the fourth-oldest living person in Japan, after Tomiko ItookaOkagi Hayashi and Mine Kondō, and was the 12th-oldest living person in the world.
