Josino Levino Ferreira, 112th birthday

The Gerontology Research Group (GRG) is delighted to report that Mr. Josino Levino Ferreira of Brazil, has celebrated his 112th birthday. Josino Levino Ferreira was born in Conceicao, Paraiba, Brazil on 3 April 1913. For his entire career, he worked as a farmer. In 1941, he married Sebastiana Ana da Conceicao. Ana died in 2001 at the age of 87.

On 3 April 2023, he celebrated his 110th birthday, becoming a supercentenarian. At the age of 112, he has 3 living children, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Josino Levino Ferreira currently lives in Coronel Ezequiel, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil at the age of 111. He is currently the second-oldest living man in Brazil, South America and the world, behind 112-year-old Joao Marinho Neto.

His age was meticulously examined and verified by Guilherme Matheus de Sousa, GRG Correspondent for Brazil, Maria Lindacir Ferreira and the Levino Ferreira family, and validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 16 September 2024.
