Belgian-born woman, living in France, turns 112
According to a media source, Yvonne Francier celebrated her 112th birthday on February 28 2025. Yvonne was born in Anderlecht, Brussels, Belgium on February 28 1913. After the death of her husband in 1969, she moved in 1970 to Corsica, a French island in the Mediterranean. She lives near Ajaccio, the capital city of Corsica.
Yvonne’s age is currently pending validation by the Gerontology Research Group. If validated, she would be the sixth-oldest known living person in France.
