Ruth Leiber (1902-2012) validation

The GRG announces the age validation of Ella Ruth Leiber, known as Ruth. Ruth was born March 24th 1902 in Preble County, Ohio, USA, to Fred and Mary Leiber. She had at least two siblings. Ruth never married, nor had any known children. After retiring in 1965, she moved to Florida, eventually settling in Winter Park, Orange County. She passed away in a care home there on September 6th 2012, aged 110 years, 166 days.

Ruth’s age was verified by Anson Davis and Daniel Gonik. This was accepted by the GRG as validated with a retroactive date – January 5th 2017.
