Jeannette Kennedy (1891-2001) validation

The GRG announces the age validation of Jeannette Cecilia Kennedy, nee Simard. Jeannette was born in French Town, Missoula County, Montana, USA, to Joseph and Nellie Simard. On January 17th 1912, aged 21, Jeannette married Edward Reynolds Kennedy in Glendive, Dawson County, Montana. They had at least one child – a son named Bernard. After marrying, at some point before 1920, they moved to North Dakota, settling in Sentinel Butte, Golden Valley County, North Dakota. Jeannette would continue to live in North Dakota for the rest of her life. Edward sadly died in Sentinel Butte on April 17th 1960, leaving her a widow, after which she did not remarry. Jeannette passed away on August 16th 2001 in Dickinson, Stark County, North Dakota, aged 110 years, 222 days.

Jeannette’s age was verified by Anson Davis and Gabriel Ainsworth. This was accepted by the GRG with a retroactive date of November 30th 2016.
