Milly Skjordahl (1913-present) validation

The GRG announces today the age validation of Emilya Skjordahl, nee Cienky/Cienke, known as Mildred or Milly to those who know her. Milly was born July 10th 1913 (claims June 16th) in Hammond, Lake County, Indiana, USA, to Theodor (Theodore) Cienky and Apolonia (Pauline) Cienky, nee Perydiat. Her parents were Polish immigrants. She had at least two siblings. On July 9th 1938, aged almost 25, Milly married Arthur J Skjordahl and went on to have two children together – both sons. Arthur sadly passed away on April 26th 1990, leaving Milly a widow – she did not remarry after. Milly reportedly is a keen painter and drawer and has also enjoyed ballroom dancing. She currently lives in a senior living facility in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona, aged 110.

Milly’s age was verified by myself and Waclaw Jan Kroczek. This was accepted by the GRG as validated today – February 20th 2024.
