The GRG announces the age validation of Rosetta Jane bicknell, nee Arthur, known as Rose. Rose was born in Chelsea, London, England, on July 13th 1903 to Benjamin and Anne Arthur. She met her future husband, Frederick John Bicknell (born 1898), in 1923 and they married on July 26th 1925 in Notting Hill. They went on to have one child together – a daughter named Lilian (born 1927). Sadly, Frederick passed away in 1968, leaving Rose a widow – she did not remarry after. Rose passed away in Hounslow, London, on September 8th 2013, aged 110 years, 57 days.
Her age was verified by Chris Law and accepted by the GRG with a retroactive date of October 28th 2016.
