The GRG announces today the age validation of Rosina Maud Caulkett. Rosina was born in St Pancras, Camden, London, England, on November 13th 1913 to George Richard and Maud Caulkett, nee Button. She was baptised on November 19th of the same year. It would appear that for a short time when she was a baby, she was admitted into the workhouse. Rosina never married or had any known children. She lived in and around the London and middlesex area for most, if not all of her life. She moved into a care home in West Byfleet, where she still resides today, aged 102. Now, at 110 years old, she is amongst the oldest residents of the UK.
Rosina’s age was verified by myself and accepted by the GRG as validated today – February 14th 2024.
The Gerontology Research Group (GRG) is a global non-profit dedicated to validating, recording, and researching supercentenarians — those aged 110 or older. Founded in 1990, we focus on human longevity, healthy aging, and studying the lives of the world’s oldest people.
Our work requires significant funding for research, travel, and maintaining our website. Any financial support would greatly aid our mission to advance the understanding of human longevity.
If you wish to support our research financially, please donate to our efforts, but only if you can afford it. We would greatly appreciate even a symbolic support. Thank you!
