The GRG announces the age validation of Emma Jefferies, formerly Fowlkes, nee Toone. Emma was born in Lunenburg County, Virginia, USA on August 11th 1899 to William Henry Toone and Delia Eva Hays Toone, nee Fields. On January 2nd 1920, Emma married Moses Edward Fowlkes in Lununburg County, but was sadly widowed by 1930. On May 15th 1931, Emma married Robert Jefferies in Manhatten, New York. She had at least one daughter. Emma passed away in New Rochelle, Westchester, New York, on August 20th 2011, aged 112 years, 9 days.
Emma’s age was verified by Gabriel Ainsworth, Filipe Prista Lucas, Anson Davis and Stefan Jamin, later retroactively accepted as valid on June 24th 2016.
