Anna Traxler (1892-2003) validation
The GRG announces today the age validation of Anna Traxler, nee Glicksman. Anna was born in England on December 12th 1892, her father an immigrant from Lithuania and her mother an immigrant from present-day Russia. On July 14th 1907, the family arrived in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, having decided to move to the US. Shortly after arrival they settled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where Anna would live for the rest of her life. On April 22nd 1917, Anna married Isadore Traxler in Milwaukee. They had at least one child – a son who lived to 96. Isadore sadly passed away May 11th 1981, leaving Anna a widow for her remaining years. She passed away on April 21st 2003, aged 110 years, 130 days, in Milwaukee.
Anna’s age was verified by Anson Davis, Robert Young, Waclaw Jan Kroczek, et al, and later accepted as retroactively valid from June 15th 2016.
