The GRG announces today the validation of Sue Lee Sanders, nee Keown. Sue was born January 9th 1902 in Athens, Clarke County, Missouri, USA. In 1930 she married Harvey Sanders and went on to have at least two children. Graduating from teaching college in 1921, Sue spent her whole career as a teacher, moving around the southern States of the US in doing so. Harvey passed away in 1980. Sue died on January 15th 2013, aged 111 years, 6 days, in Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina, USA. Her case was verified by Mark Muir, et al, and subsequently validated by the GRG on February 19th 2016. https://www.grg-supercentenarians.org/2016-validations/
