Biography
Ruth Esther Winter was born in Waushara County, Wisconsin, USA, on February 20 1912 to parents Louis Napoleon and Marie (“Mary”) Wilhelmine (nee Prellwitz) Winter.
On June 1 1937 she married Elmer William Stryzewski in Winnebago County. The couple never had any known children. Elmer passed away on March 8 2003, leaving Ruth a widow for her remaining years.
She became a supercentenarian in February 2022 on celebrating her 110th birthday.
Ruth passed away in a care facility in Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin, on November 29 2024, aged 112 years, 283 days.
