Biography

Josino Levino Ferreira was born in Conceicao, Paraiba, Brazil on 3 April 1913. For his entire career, he worked as a farmer. In 1941, he married Sebastiana Ana da Conceicao. Ana died in 2001 at the age of 87.

On 3 April 2023, he celebrated his 110th birthday, becoming a supercentenarian.

At the age of 111, he had 3 living children, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Josino Levino Ferreira passed away in Coronel Ezequiel, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil at the age of 112 years, 185 days on October 5 2025.. He was the second-oldest living man in Brazil, South America and the world, behind 112-year-old Joao Marinho Neto.
