Anonymous gentleman, whose name has been withheld for privacy reasons, was born in Tokyo Prefecture, Japan on 23 January 1914.

In July 2023, following the death of an almost 111-year-old anonymous man of Shinagawa, he became the oldest living man in Tokyo Prefecture.

On 5 July 2024, following the death of 110-year-old Tomisaburo Wakui, the anonymous man became the oldest living man in Japan.

Anonymous gentleman died in Bunkyo City, Tokyo Prefecture, Japan on 21 August 2024 at the age of 110 years, 211 days.

On the family’s request, the identity of the oldest living man in Japan was not given as of 2024.
