The GRG announces the age validation of Ora Mae Hines, nee Sanders. Ora was born February 10th 1903 (claimed February 10th 1902) in Clayton, Johnson County, North Carolina, USA, to Rufus and Martha Sanders. She had at least three siblings. On February 20th 1925, Ora married Raiford Levi Hines in Johnson County. They went on to have at least eight children together. Ora passed away in Smithfield, Johnson County, North Carolina, on November 16th 2013, aged 110 years, 279 days. It appears she spent her whole life living in Johnson County.
Ora’s age was verified by Anson Davis and myself. This was accepted by the GRG as validated with a retroactive date of December 6th 2016.
