Lucille Winkelman (1913-present) validation

The GRG announces the age validation of Betty Lucille Winkelman, nee Crawford (known as Lucille for most of her life). Lucille was born April 3rd 1913 in Scotland County, Missouri, USA, to Elbert and Nora Crawford. She moved to live with an aunt in Chicago, Illinois, when she was 15, where she met and went on to marry her husband – Lawrence Alfred Winkelman – on August 23rd 1934. They had no children together, reportedly choosing instead to travel frequently. Lawrence sadly died in 1990, leaving Lucille a widow, after which she did not remarry. She currently lives in Huntley, Illinois, at age 110.

Lucille’s age was verified by Waclaw Jan Kroczek and myself, accepted as validated by the GRG on February 17th 2024.
