Melva Radcliffe (1901-2012) validation

The GRG announces the age validation of Melva Mae Radcliffe, nee Cadmus. Melva was born March 3rd 1901 in Patterson, Passaic County, New Jersey, USA, to Wilmer and Ida Cadmus. On July 8th 1969, Melva married for the first time. This was to James Stansfield Radcliffe in Sea Girt, Monmouth County, New Jersey. James sadly passed away in 1975 after just six years of marriage. Then on September 9th 1985 at age 84, Melva married James’ brother Hartley E Radcliffe. He then passed away in 1997 or 1998. Melva remained active into later life – driving until age 95. She passed away in Patterson, where she had been born, on August 31st 2012, aged 111 years, 181 years.

Melva’s age was verified by Aaron Husar, Mark Muir, Ilias Leivaditis, et al. This was then accepted with a retroactive date of September 16th 2016 by the GRG.
