Sabina Zeig (1872-1984) validation

The GRG announces today the age validation of Sabina Zeig, nee Krebs. Sabina was born in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, USA, on November 12th 1872 (1899 marriage record says August 12th 1872), to German immigrant parents. On March 15th 1899, Sabina married Edward J Zeig in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. They had one known daughter, Vera, born 1899, who died in January 1933, aged 33. Sabina was sadly widowed when Edward died on March 12th 1941. She continued to live in Pennsylvania, spending the rest of her life there. She passed away in Oakmont, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, aged 112 year, 19 days, on December 1st 1984.

Sabina’s age was verified by Mark Muir and Ilias Leivaditis, later accepted by the GRG with a retroactive date of July 15th 2016.
