The GRG announces the age validation of Marion Rowatt Dawson, nee Bilsland of Scotland. Marion was born on January 19th 1913 in Houston, Renfrewshire, Scotland. In 1941 she married Robert Dawson and went on to have two children – Jean and Allan. Marion has lived her entire life in the same area and now lives in a care home in Bridge of Weir, Renfrewshire. She has been the oldest known living person in Scotland since October of 2021. Marion is due to celebrate her 111th birthday today, so we wish her a very happy birthday!

Marion’s age was verified by myself, accepted as valid by the GRG on January 15th 2024.
