Georgette Huard (1912-present) validation
The GRG announces today the age validation of Georgette Huard. Georgette was born in Le Havre, France on November 24th 1912. Her father died during the First World War and she became a ward of the nation. She married in 1942, despite her family not being onboard with this, and had one child – a son named Jean. Her husband sadly passed away around 1992, leaving her a widow.
Since 2011, approaching age 99, Georgette has lived in a nursing home in Sees, Orne, France – she moved here to be nearer to her son. She is the oldest known living person in Normandy.
Georgette’s age was validated by France correspondent Sylvain Grosgeorge, accepted as valid by the GRG today, January 17th 2024.
