Amanda Ricker (1862-1973) validation
The GRG announces the age validation of Amanda Ellen Ricker, nee Graybill. Amanda was born December 30th 1862 in Millville, Clayton County, Iowa, USA. On August 17th 1890, she married Malon W Ricker and they went on to have five children. Sadly, Malon died in 1943, after which Amanda moved from Clayton County to Dubuque, Dubuque County, Iowa, to live with a daughter. She ended up passing away there at age 110 years, 23 days on January 22nd 1973. She outlived four of her five children.
Amanda’s age was verified by Daniel Gonik, Waclaw Jan Kroczek and myself, later accepted as retroactively validated on May 31st 2016.
