Yuko Sato (1910-2023)

The GRG is sad to report the death of Yuko Sato of Japan. Yuko was born in Omonogawa (now part of Yokote City, Akita prefecture, Japan, on September 29th 1910. She was the oldest living person known in her prefecture at her passing. Yuko passed away today, December 15th 2023, at 5.40AM local time.

The GRG extends its sincere condolences to her family and all who knew her.
