On Christmas Eve in 1935, Winnie Felps married Ralph Felps in Lampasas County, Texas, beginning a journey of love and companionship that would last for nearly 47 years. During their years together, the couple welcomed eight children into their lives: Dorothy, Jimmie, Randy, Barbara, Sandra, Brenda, Ralph Jr., and Winnie Lee.

Winnie faced both the joys and challenges of motherhood, demonstrating her strength and dedication in raising a large family. In November 1982, she experienced the loss of her beloved husband, Ralph, marking the end of a lifelong partnership that had endured for decades.

On 10 October 2021, Winnie Felps celebrated her remarkable 110th birthday, joining the ranks of supercentenarians. Her long and rich life, marked by love, family, and resilience, was a testament to her enduring spirit.

Winnie Felps currently resides in Texas, USA, where she continues to inspire those around her with her wisdom and the remarkable journey that is her life. She is currently the second-oldest living person in the U.S. state of Texas, with Elizabeth Francis (aged 115) hold the title of the oldest.
