Biography
Wenonah Taborn was born in Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois, USA, on October 2 1912 to parents Louis B and Elizabeth Rachel (nee Kelley) Taborn.
In the early 1930’s she married William Wright, going on to have at least two children together. She was later either divorced or widowed, then marryied Edgar Albert Bish in 1943. The couple had no known children together. Edgar passed away on March 26 2001, after which Wenonah remained a widow.
In October 2022 she celebrated her 110th birthday and gained supercentenarian status.
Wenonah passed away in Sherman, Sangamon County, Illinois, on November 1 2025, aged 113 years, 30 days.
