Mary Clark Manion was born in Randolph County, Missouri, USA, on August 3 1912 to parents James William and Gertrude Hadden (nee Finnell) Manion.
On March 15 1933 she married Wallace Preston Chesney in Bucklin, Linn County, Missouri. The couple had no known children together. Wallace passed away on April 24 1996, leaving Mary a widow for her remaining years.
In August 2022 she became a supercentenarian on turning 110.
Mary passed away in a care facility in Moberly, Randolph County, Missouri, on May 5 2025, aged 112 years, 275 days.
