Marjorie Ethel Aylward was born in Harlesden, Brent, London, Middlesex, England, UK, on April 1 1914 to parents John Frank and Bertha Ethel Knight (nee Finch) Aylward. She was baptized on May 17 of the same year.
She was married twice, firstly to Stanley Hodnett, who sadly died in 1955. Marjorie then married Stanley’s brother Hugh in 1956, but was again widowed, this time in 1958.
In April 2024 she became a supercentenarian on celebrating her 110th birthday.
Marjorie currently lives in Formby, Merseyside, England, at the age of 112.
