Biography
Anna Salzmann, later Offenberger, was born on June 6 1914 in Euratsfeld, Austria, to Amalia Salzmann and Augustin Offenberger. Her parents later married and Anna’s maiden name was then Offenberger.
On May 28 1951, Anna married Franz Wagner. They went on to have a daughter together.
In 2024, Anna celebrated her 110th birthday, becoming a supercentenarian.
Upon the passing of Margarete Troestl on January 17 2025, Anna was the oldest known person living in Austria, aged 111. She passed away in Austria on May 12 2026, aged 111 years, 340 days.
