Anna Roux was born in La Porcherie, Haute-Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, on 13 July 1895.
On 15 July 1913, she married Pierre Faye (1888–1915) in Saint-Germain-les-Belles, Haute-Vienne. They had at least one son (born in 1914).
In her last years, she lived with her daughter in Brive-la-Gaillarde. In 2007, she still had a sharp mind, and was able to peel the vegetables with her daughter.
Anna Roux died in Brive-la-Gaillarde, Corrèze, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, on 25 December 2007, at the age of 112 years, 165 days.
