Hazel Schultz (1913-present) validation
The GRG announces today the age validation of Hazel Mary Schultz, nee Anthony. Hazel was born January 12th 1913 in Mozart, Saskatchewan, Canada, to Clarence Joseph Anthony and Dagmar Anthony, nee Iwerson. She had at least one sibling – a younger brother, who sadly died at age 37. Hazel’s father died at age 98 and her mother at age 101. On April 13th 1923, the family landed in the US, settling in Washington State. On May 16th 1941, Hazel married Herbert Philip Schultz and they went on to have three children. By the time Hazel reached 109 years of age, she was living with her daughter in Post Falls, Kootenai County, Idaho, where she still lives today at age 111.
Hazel’s age was verified by myself and Waclaw Jan Kroczek, accepted as validated by the GRG from today’s date – January 26th 2024.
