Dr. Coles' Supercentenarian Institute
Helene Sandvig of North Dakota has celebrated her 112th birthday recently. She was born November 25th 1911.
Helene was born, and still resides in, North Dakota. She was a teacher by profession. She married but had no children. Helene and her husband traveled much during their marriage.
“She’s a people person, she loves to be around people and her faith, and her faith, she’s got deep faith, which is very good,” said Sandvig’s friend Jean Johnson.
The Gerontology Research Group (GRG) is a global non-profit dedicated to validating, recording, and researching supercentenarians — those aged 110 or older. Founded in 1990, we focus on human longevity, healthy aging, and studying the lives of the world’s oldest people.
Our work requires significant funding for research, travel, and maintaining our website. Any financial support would greatly aid our mission to advance the understanding of human longevity.
If you wish to support our research financially, please donate to our efforts, but only if you can afford it. We would greatly appreciate even a symbolic support. Thank you!
