Biography

Sofia Rojas was born on August 13 1907 in Suaita, Santander, Colombia. Her mother was Carmen Rojas.

She had four children before marrying Antonio Diaz on September 14 1953.

In August 2017 she celebrated her 110th birthday, becoming a supercentenarian.

Sofia passed away in Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia, on July 30 2022, aged 114 years, 351 days. She is the oldest known Colombian person ever.
