Biography
Rosa Quaresma was born on December 3 1915 in Lajes do Pico, The Azores, Portugal, to parents Manuel Quaresma Leandro and Maria do Carmo Terra.
In December 1942 she married Jorge Furtado in the Azores. They went on to have at least one child together – a daughter. In 1969 she moved to the US, settling in California.
Rosa celebrated her 110th birthday in December 2025 with family and friends, attaining supercentenarian status. She currently resides in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, California, at age 110.
