Biography

Katarina was born on October 30 1899 in Deskle (then a part of Austria-Hungary) to parents Anton and Marija Gabrscek.

She married Rudolf Marinic in 1929. They never had children.

For the last 13 years of her life she resided in a care facility in Nova Gorica, Slovenia, where she passed away on September 2 2010, aged 110 years, 307 days.
