Karl Gottlieb Haidle was born September 2 1915 in Stetten im Remstal and was baptised on September 19 1915. His parents were Gottlieb Christian Haidle and Wilhelmine Luise Schwelger. He had church confirmation in 1935.

On September 17 1955 Karl married Frida Minna Wolf in Stetten.

In September 2025, Karl reached his 110th birthday, becoming a supercentenarian. He was the oldest known man living in Germany and also resided in the very same house he was born in 110 years previous.

Karl passed away on November 1 2025, aged 110 years, 60 days.
