Hilda Rhoda Grieveson was born on February 19 1914 in Gillingham, Medway, Kent, England, UK, to Leonard Stanley and Rhoda (nee Kite) Grieveson. When she was six, the family moved to Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland and they were still there in 1921. At some point between 1921 and 1939 the family moved back to Gillingham, Kent.
In January 1944, Hilda married Ronald S Luck in Chatham, Medway, Kent. They went on to have two children together – both sons. Ronald Sr died in 1998. She did not remarry after this.
Hilda currently lives in Rainham, Medway, Kent, England, at the age of 112.
