Biography

Emma Lena Tucker was born in Lafayette, Chambers County, Alabama, USA, on February 9 1914 to parents Rufus and Pearlie (nee Leverett) Tucker.

On April 10 1960 she married Steven (“Steve”) Robinson in Lafayette. The couple had no known children together. Steve passed away in 1975, after which Emma never remarried.

She turned 110 in February 2024, becoming a supercentenarian.

Emma passed away in a care facility in Goodwater, Coosa County, Alabama, on March 29 2025, aged 111 years, 48 days.
