Biography

Emma Blanche Demian was born on January 31 1915 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, to parents Paul and Susana Demian.

On November 20 1941 she married Edward Kmet and went on to have at least three children. Edward sadly died in 1995, after which Emma never remarried.

In January 2025 Emma celebrated her 110th birthday, gaining status as a supercentenarian.

Emma currently passed away in a care facility in Strongsville, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, at age 111 years, 159 days, on July 9 2026.
