Biography
Dorothy Augusta Stine was born in Fried, Stutsman County, North Dakota, USA, on June 9 1913 to parents Herman Frederick and Emma Louise Friederike (nee Lehne) Stine.
In 1936 Dorothy moved to Washington State. On August 21 1937 she married Carl Christopher Reed in Ellensburg, Kittitas County, Washington. They went on to have two children together. Carl passed away on February 13 1976, after which Dorothy never remarried.
In June 2023 she celebrated her 110th birthday, becoming a supercentenarian.
Dorothy passed away in a care facility in Wenatchee, Chelan County, Washington, on April 22 2024, aged 110 years, 318 days.
