Biography
Dexter Ronald Kruger was born in Nundah, Queensland, Australia, on January 13 1910 to parents Albert Henry and Matilda (nee Otto) Kruger.
In 1942 he married Gladys Doreen Beanland and went on to have one child together – a son. Gladys passed away on May 24 1994, leaving Dexter a widower.
He reportedly lived alone until the age of 103, then moving into a care facility.
In January 2020, Dexter turned 110, gaining supercentenarian status.
He passed away in Roma, Queensland, on July 20 2021, aged 111 years, 188 days.
